National Vice Chairman, North East of the All Progressives Congress (APC), comrade Mustapha Salihu has said that former Vice President and Presidential candidate of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar was deceived by con men into believing that there was an INEC server used for the transmission of election results during the last Presidential election. Comrade Salihu told newsmen in an interview after a meeting of stakeholders of the party from Adamawa state that from the judgement of the tribunal it is clear that there was no server recognised by law anywhere and so, could not have been used for the election. Fuel tanker falls along Enugu-Abakaliki Expressway (Punch)

A fuel tanker carrying 33,000 liters of Premium Motor Spirit on Friday fell along the Eke Obinagu-Emene-Abakaliki Road in Enugu East Local Government Area of Enugu State. A Federal High Court sitting in Port Harcourt Rivers State has vacated a forfeiture order secured by the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) on some properties belonging to former Imo Governor Rochas Okorocha and some members of his family. A man who police say killed three of his relatives before getting naked and leading police on a foot chase has been charged with murder. Matthew Bernard, 18, is accused of killing his mother, 62-year-old Joan Bernard, his sister Emily Bernard Bivens, 25, and her 14-month-old son Cullen Bivens, at their home in Pittsylvania County, Virginia last month.
