Inter Milan manager Luciano Spalletti has warned Ivan Perisic he must find a club willing to foot his wages after the winger handed in a transfer request in a bid to join Arsenal.
The Croatian is free to leave the club this month but Inter want any deal to be a permanent one, while Arsenal can only manage a loan deal with an option to buy.
Perisic has long been linked with Manchester United but Jose Mourinho’s departure has led to the Red Devils cooling their interest.
The 29-year-old was an unused substitute during Sunday’s 1-0 defeat to Torino and Spalletti warned the Croatian afterwards that his departure is not as simple as simply handing in a transfer request. Read more
