Jalal Arabi inaugurated as Chairman, Governing Council Federal College of Education, Kontagora

Mr Jalal Arabi has been inaugurated as Chairman, Governing Council of the Federal College of Education, Kontagora.

Born in Jos, Plateau State, the former Permanent Secretary, State House, who hails from Gombe State, is a law graduate of the University of Jos, whose exceptional career has taken him from the state to the federal level of government.

His rise through the ranks as state counsel in Bauchi State to the lofty heights at the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure, Ministry of Defence and a host of others, landed him at the State House as Counsel in June, 2007. 

Arabi eventually led the State House as permanent Secretary.

As part of his quest for knowledge and continuous self-improvement, he has attended several conferences and seminars both at home and abroad too numerous to mention here, including Nigerian Institute of Advanced Legal Studies, (Legal Drafting); ASCON, (Management) 1993 University of Maryland, College Park, (Negotiations) – 1990, Jesus College, Cambridge, (Economics Ethnics and Etiquette), 1996 and World Bank Institute, (Public-Private Partnership) 2000.
