Jarrell Miller breaks silence as Anthony Joshua title fight is cancelled (Express)

‘Big Baby’ Miller failed a dope test with VADA [Voluntary Anti Doping Agency] on March 20, and the results of the test were made public early on Wednesday morning.

After less than 24 hours, it was confirmed that the challenger will not be given a licence by the New York State Athletic Commission, thus effectively ending any chances of the fight taking place.

ESPN first reported late on Tuesday night that Miller’s sample had returned with an adverse finding of banned substance GW1516.

Also known as Endurobol, GW1516 is a fat burner and is intended to boost athletic endurance.

With Miller ruled out of the fight, Joshua’s team are now looking at alternative fighters for his US debut.

The fight card, at Madison Square Garden on June 1, will still go ahead despite Miller being removed from the card.

In a statement posted on Instagram, the American heavyweight denied having ever taken any banned substances.
