Jurgen Klopp has confessed Naby Keita isn’t as good for Liverpool as he was for former club RB Leipzig.
Keita joined the Reds in the summer for £48 million and has gone on to make eight Premier League starts since his arrival at Anfield.
However, Klopp admitted he is lacking confidence in games and isn’t playing up to the standards he set for himself back in Germany.
‘Could he be a bit more confident in the games? Yes,’ Klopp said. ‘Is he exactly the player in his best time at Leipzig? No, but he is still adapting – that is how it is.
‘Everybody saw, not only at the beginning of the season, how brilliantly he played in the first part. Tottenham was a fantastic game from him without thinking too much. Read more
