Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp was full of praise for debutant Ki-Jana Hoever after the defender’s first team bow against Wolves in the FA Cup.
The 16-year-old became the third youngest player to appear for the Reds when he entered the fray after seven minutes in the Reds’ 2-1 defeat at Molineux.
Klopp made nine changes to his side but was forced into another when Dejan Lovren limped off with a hamstring strain.
Hoever joined Liverpool from Ajax’s academy and is highly thought of on Merseyside and Klopp was impressed by the youngster’s display. Read more
