Jurgen Klopp reveals Liverpool plan to stop Chelsea star Eden Hazard (Metro)

Jurgen Klopp admits a much-changed Liverpool team will have to be much better without the ball when they renew hostilities with Chelsea on Saturday.

Maurizio Sarri’s side ended Liverpool’s 100% start to the new season when a stunning individual effort from Eden Hazard settled an enthralling Carabao Cup tie at Anfield on Wednesday.

Both sides are expected to make significant alterations their line-ups at Stamford Bridge after the likes of Mohamed Salah, Andrew Robertson, Jorginho and N’Golo Kante were rested in midweek.

Hazard, ultimately, won the match during a 20-minute cameo but Klopp believes he knows how to stop the Belgium international from having a decisive say tomorrow.

He said: ‘Stop passes to him? Good idea? Being close? Good idea, but he likes players being close sometimes.

‘We all know we could have stopped that goal but he used that situation. No player is not defendable.
