Where did you spend your formative years?

I spent my formative years in Ibadan. I was born in Ibadan at Adeoyo General Hospital. My parents were in Ibadan- my father was a civil servant in the defunct Western Region while my mother was a trader. I grew up in Ibadan and went to school there. I spent my first 10 years in Ibadan and then got posted to Ekiti, to Christ School for my secondary education.

What was it like growing up in Ibadan at that time?

Oh, Ibadan was beautiful; you know it was a civil service city, well it wasn’t exclusively civil service but the part of Ibadan I grew up in was a civil service place. Read more
