Kwara governor lauds Globacom as telecom market leader

Kwara State governor, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has expressed high praise for Globacom Limited, hailing it as a source of national pride and a dominant force in Nigeria’s telecommunications sector.

Describing Globacom as a home-grown success story, Governor AbdulRazaq emphasised its significant role as a telecommunications ambassador for the country. During the meeting with Globacom’s Enterprise Business Group in Ilorin on Wednesday, he stated, “Globacom needs no introduction to Kwara State. It is our own and a good ambassador of this country as far as telecommunications services are concerned. We will be delighted to do business with Globacom.”

Mr. Eric Uwaoma, Head of Mobility Business in Globacom’s Enterprise Business Group, highlighted the company’s pioneering contributions to the telecom industry. He asserted that Globacom has played a pivotal role in driving growth and bringing about revolutionary changes in Nigeria’s telecommunications landscape. Uwaoma stated, “Globacom is not just a business but a catalyst for economic growth for Nigeria and Nigerians,” underscoring the company’s commitment to offering the best plans with competitive value and pricing.

Following the meeting with Governor AbdulRazaq, the Glo team engaged with the Commissioner for Business Innovations and Technology, Mrs. Damilola Yusuf-Adelodun, to discuss the intricacies of the proposed business collaboration with the state. The discussions signify a potential partnership that could further strengthen the telecommunications infrastructure and contribute to economic development in Kwara State.
