Since its emergence on to the scene, Michelle Obama’s Becoming has been grabbing headlines for many reasons. The memoir of the former American first lady will feature in a colloquium at this year’s Lagos Book and Art Festival (LABAF) alongside My Promised Land: The Triumph & Tragedy of Israel, by Harry Shaviz.
Theme of the event which will be marked by reading and conversations is: Narratives of Emergence.
