The Lagos State Government through the state Valuation Office has disclosed its plan to commence a valuation of the fixed asset properties of the Lagos State Waterways Authority across the state.
This was made known in a statement signed by the Director of Lagos State Valuation Office, Adekunle Awolaja, on Monday.
It read, “The Lagos State Valuation Office, is set to commence a valuation exercise of Lagos State Waterways Authority fixed assets properties state-wide.
“The exercise will be carried out within two days by the office in collaboration with two consultants, and about eight locations including terminals, jetties, control rooms, and landings of LASWA are to be assessed.
“The primary objective of the exercise is to identify and locate all properties, plants, and equipment of LASWA, ascertain their condition, determine their economic worth in monetary terms, and proffer recommendations for optimising usage of such assets.” (Punch)
