Governor Simon Lalong of Plateau Sate has donated N4 .5 million to families of nine deceased Journalist who died in the line of duty 11 years ago.
Governor Lalong made the pronouncement during an interactive session with journalists, in Jos, to commemorate 19 years of uninterrupted Democracy and three years of his administration.
He said it could be recalled that nine members of the Plateau NUJ had an accident on their way to the southern zone of Plateau on their way to inspect projects in the zone.
They were in a convoy with the then governor of the state, Chief Joshua Dariye, was the Speaker of the state House of Assembly then. Read more
