Basketball star Lamar Odom has admitted to cheating a drugs test to get onto the USA national basketball team for the 2004 Olympics in Athens.
In an excerpt from his upcoming autobiography, Darkness To Light, the LA Lakers star reveals he became anxious after qualifying for the team when he was told he would have to pass an obligatory drugs test to actually play in Greece.
‘The joy of being named to the twelve-man roster quickly turned to anxiety when Olympic officials informed me that I would have to pass a drug test before officially joining the team,’ he writes.
The 39-year-old – who was previously married to Khloe Kardashian – knew he wouldn’t pass the test as he was using drugs at the time. Read more
