The LAPD’s Office of the Inspector General confirmed Monday that the Internal Affairs Group is investigating the desk officer’s response at the 77th Street station.
The unnamed woman is thought to have visited the station after she saw her car on a TV report during the manhunt for the shooter.
Captain Gisselle Espinoza, an LAPD spokeswoman, said the matter is under administrative investigation and no further details can be released. Read more
