Leo Stan Ekeh: Naija’s biggest ICT mogul

Born Leonard Stanley Nnamdi Ekeh and known the world over as Leo Stan Ekeh, he is the founder, chairman and CEO of the multimillion dollar Zinox Technologies. Though hailing from Ubomiri Mbaitoli, Imo State, Nigerian, Leo Stan is a true and worthy Lagos Big Boy.

A pioneer in several ICT sub-sectors like desktop publishing, computer graphics and ICT distribution, in 1987 he started Task Direct Limited the first among a long list of companies including: Task Systems, Technology Distributions Limited, ICT Brokers, TD Plus, ICT Connect, Buyright Africa Dotcom and Yudala. By 2001, Zinox Technologies Limited had started producing Zinox Computers, a truly Nigerian brand.

His name reverberates from all corners of the globe, daily bringing him recognition, awards and wealth. Not one to keep all that wealth for himself, through the Leo Stan Ekeh Foundation, which knows neither tribe nor creed, he has been grooming young entrepreneurs who are not just astute in business but also do not need bank loans to get ahead.

Trained in India and the United Kingdom as an economist and risk manager, the businessman has been resolute in his vision to computerise Nigeria. This has helped in no small way to democratise the ICT ecosystem in the country.

In February 2018, Leo Stan Ekeh scored the biggest ICT scoop this year when he snapped up e-commerce leader Konga in a move no one could have predicted. The addition of Konga to his stable means that with Yudala, Leo Stan Ekeh is now king of the e-commerce market.

Give it up for this lagos Big Boy!

Bet you didn’t know this: Leo Stan Ekeh’s biggest ambition as a young man was to own the biggest transport company in Nigeria.
