Lola Akande will be reading from her novel, Where Are You From? during the fourth edition of BookTrek in 2019 organised by the Committee for Relevant Art (CORA). Venue is Quintessence Gallery, Ikoyi, Lagos on Saturday, June 15, 2019.
CORA says the event runs from 2.30pm to 5pm and will be very interactive.
“In Where Are You From, Akande questions the true meaning of federalism and highlights the frustrations and disappointments faced by young Nigerians in search of fulfilment,” says CORA’s statement.
Quintessence is located near the entrance into Parkview Estate in Ikoyi. The CORA Quintesence BookTrek holds every second Saturday of the month, at 2.30pm.
