No fewer than 250 voters lined up for accreditation and voting for the governorship and house of assembly elections at Kosofe Local Government Area of Lagos State on Saturday.

Oluwaseun Sule, Polling Agent for Social Democratic Party (SDP), told NAN that she was very impressed by the massive turnout of voters.
“We are still hoping that more voters will come out to vote because it is their civic responsibility and I hope the process remains calm.
“The INEC officials are also doing a fantastic job; although they arrived late and I hope the voting process is fast so that there will not be any delay at all, “Sule said.
Sule said she was hopeful that SDP would be successful in the election.
Anuoluwapo Akinola, Polling Agent for Labour Party (LP), said she was astonished at how fast the accreditation and voting was going.

She said she was positive that her party would come out victorious at the end of the elections.
However, a voter, Ovunda Sam- Stanford, said he was not impressed by the late arrival of INEC officials but commended them for the fast accreditation and voting.

“We want a better Lagos, so we are hoping the best candidate wins the governorship election,” he said.
Also, an elderly man, Mr Wole Adeyemi, said the governorship election process was smooth when compared with the presidential election.
“I think that INEC officials learnt from their previous mistakes during the presidential elections and are doing a better job this time.
“Voters are also very orderly, everywhere is calm,” he added.
