Mbaka reopens Adoration on sunday

After three and half months of shutdown, the Adoration Ministry Enugu Nigeria (AMEN) of Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka will be reopened on Sunday, October 2.

Announcing the date for the reopening of the Ministry in a statement, Fr. Mbaka who is the Spiritual Director, said it will start again with a 10am Mass.

He said, “To the glory of God, Adoration Ministries starts on Sunday 2nd October, 2022 with 10am Mass. God bless you miraculously as you come Joyfully to worship God with us. Fr Mbaka Ejike Camillus.”

The Adoration Ministry was shutdown indefinitely on June 18, following the sanction placed upon it by the Catholic Bishop of Enugu Diocese, Rt. Rev. Calistus Onaga because of Mbaka’s verbal attack on the presidential candidate of Labour Party, Peter Obi and the subsequent public outcry and criticism oof the clergyman.

Mbaka had said that Obi is too stingy and that he can never win the presidency of Nigeria because “a generous old man is better than a young wicked person.”

But the Diocese in a swift reaction disowned Mbaka stressing he spoke for himself and not the Catholic Church.
