Miabo Enyadike’s ongoing exhibition which opened on Friday March 23, 2018 at MILIKI on 7B Etim Inyang Crescent, Victoria Island, Lagos, has been extended to Saturday March 31, 2018.
The exhibition has been visited by captains of industry, top bankers, Lagos socialites, Nollywood icons as well as art enthusiasts of various stripes.
The works on display run the gamut from oil on canvas to mixed media and very avant-gardist pieces that defy easy categorization.
Speaking on the extension, a very enthused Miabo said “We have witnessed a few traffic disruptions since the exhibition opened so we are offering those who haven’t been an opportunity to visit during this long Easter weekend.”
Miabo’s works have shown and been seen at the Joburg Fringe in Johannesburg, Rotterdam Art Fair, Parallax Art Fair Chelsea, Art Resilience at the St. Frajou Museum in France and several solo and private shows.
Educated at the Rivers State College of Education, University of Ibadan, Nigeria and the Inscape Design College, Johannesburg, South Africa, she was the recipient of a Ford Foundation award and grant for contemporary art in 2006.
