MTN lights up this weekend with ‘Our Son the Minister’

Supported by MTN Foundation, Beeta Universal Arts Foundation is set to present the award-winning play, Our Son the Minister, for the second time at Terra Kulture, Victoria Island, Lagos from 9th to 11th November, 2018.

A masterful work of political satire written by Paul Ugbede and produced by the award winning actor, Bikiya Graham-Douglas, Our Son the Minister tells the story of Doctor Makoji, who secures a ministerial appointment but discovers that his family and friends have made plans on how to share the expected sizable financial benefits he is set to bring home. Alarmed by their plans, Makoji decides to turn down the appointment, setting off a chain reaction within the family.

Starring Patrick Diabuah, Soibifaa Dokubo, Inna Erizia, Chris Iheuwah, Biodun Kassim, and directed by Kenneth Uphopho, the play is set to serenade theatre lovers at the Terra Kulture Arena all weekend.

Our Son the Minister is part of the MTN Foundation’s Arts and Culture initiative for the last quarter of the year in which the ICT company seeks to sponsor various art, drama and music productions. The initiative has already produced well-loved shows as Fela and the Kalakuta Queens, Legends: the Musical and Life in My City Art Festival in Enugu. This weekend, art enthusiasts can make their way to Terra Kulture to enjoy a superlative performance of Our Son the Minister.
