Ndidi is Eagles most committed player – Pinnick

Nigeria Football Federation president, Amaju Pinnick, has rated Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi as the most committed player in the Super Eagles.

Ndidi has been an ever-present player in the Eagles since he broke into the team in 2015 and has made 34 appearances since then.

In an exclusive interview with Sports Extra, Pinnick praised the Foxes’ star for his exemplary patriotism.

“That’s the same spirit in the Super Eagles. That’s why I don’t joke with (Wilfred) Ndidi. The same way he plays for Leicester City is the same way he plays for the Eagles that is patriotism,” Pinnick told Sports Extra.

“We’ve seen players who play for the national team protecting their legs when they play for the Eagles but give all to their clubs.

“However, we are happy with the crop of players in the Eagles today because they give their all. We have lots of players coming in to play for the national teams. (Text courtesy of The Punch)
