Netflix has ordered an animated spy series with Elvis Presley at the helm.
Agent King follows the King of Rock n Roll as he lives out his day job as a famous singer before transforming into an undercover agent who tackles dark forces that threaten America at night.
The series, which sees Priscilla Presley and John Eddie serving as co-creators and executive producers, was confirmed by the streaming giant on the 42nd anniversary of Elvis’s death on 16 August 1977.
‘From the time Elvis was a young boy he always dreamed of being the superhero fighting crime and saving the world,’ Elvis’s widower Priscilla said. ‘Agent King lets him do just that.’ Read more
