Neurosurgeon cautions on Osimhen’s immediate return

Renowned neurosurgeon Alfredo Bucciero has warned that Victor Osimhen must be in “perfect condition” before he is allowed to return to the pitch.

Last week, the 22-year-old was knocked unconscious in a scary incident during the final minutes against Atalanta, after a challenge by Cristian Romero, and was stretchered off the pitch and taken to hospital.

The incident reportedly left the Nigerian in trauma, with him unable to remember the accident.

According to Bucciero, Osimhen will undergo further tests and a Magnetic Resonance Imaging scan on Friday (today).

“I saw him on Tuesday and there are more tests planned on Friday (today),” Alfredo Bucciero told Radio Marte.“He returned to training, but before we send him back out onto the pitch to play, we need to make absolutely sure he is in perfect condition. (Punch)
