Nick Kyrgios found himself at the centre of another controversial moment at the US Open after the start to his second round match against Antoine Hoang was delayed with a match official taking issue at his attire.

The Australian, fresh from having been forced to retract his comments branding the ATP ‘corrupt’ after he was handed a $113,000 fine following a major meltdown in Cincinnati, entered the Grandstand court wearing a shirt with the logo ‘Just Do You’ emblazoned on the collar, which was spotted by an on court advisor who took issue with the branding.

The 24-year-old held a lengthy discussion with the official and was heard saying: ‘I wanna see the rule. I wanna see the rule.
