Nigeria has recorded another single-day high in its daily COVID-19 tally of new cases with 386 infections, bringing the total to 3,912. Only a day before, the record of infections had been 381 new cases.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) Friday night confirmed the new cases via its official Twitter @NCDCgov saying that 176 were reported in Lagos, 65 in Kano, 31 in Katsina, 20 in the FCT, and 17 in Borno.Also among the 19 states and FCT are: Bauchi (15), Nasarawa (14), Ogun (13) and Plateau (10).
The NCDC further explained that 679 of the 3,912 cases have been successfully treated and discharged, while 117 have died.
