Nigerians who have been stuck waiting for new passports booklets may now heave a sigh of relief.
A source at the Nigerian Immigration Office at Alagbon in Lagos informed thisislagos.ng that their office took delivery of passport booklets today and applicants should begin receiving their passports as early as Friday.
“We just took delivery of new booklets today and passports should be ready from Friday.”
Applicants for new passports especially those who applied for the 32 page booklets have been waiting for months to pick up the passports they applied for.
The delay was attributed to scarcity of booklets which many claim are printed in Malaysia.
