NNPC Ltd assures of no rise in PMS price

In an official statement released on January 3, 2024, the Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) Ltd. sought to allay concerns over a potential surge in the cost of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), more commonly known as petrol.

According to a statement by the company’s Chief Corporate Communications Officer, Olufemi O. Soneye, the NNPC Ltd. categorically denies any plans for an imminent increase in PMS prices.

Motorists nationwide are encouraged to remain calm and refrain from panic buying, as the NNPC assures the public of ample availability of PMS throughout the country.
