No social distancing as traders, beggars, others resume activities in Lagos

Just as the ease of the COVID-19 (coronavirus disease) lockdown directive by the Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari, became effective in Lagos State on Monday, Lagosians were seen trooping out to resume their daily activities.

Some of these Lagosians were seen violating the safety guidelines recommended and always promoted by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) and the World Health Organisation (WHO) (Text and photos courtesy Vanguard)
