Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is convinced that axed Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho will return to management soon though refused to be drawn on his comments regarding player power.
The Portuguese coach, who was sacked in December, made an appearance on beIN SPORTS on Thursday for their coverage of the Asian Cup and insisted he ‘still belongs to top-level football’.
He also reiterated his criticism of modern players and the lack of support managers receive in power struggles, though Solskjaer has encountered no such problems in his time at United so far.
‘I can’t really comment on everything he says, and of course I’m enjoying working with these boys and that’s all I can say,’ said the Norwegian at Friday’s pre-match press conference ahead of facing Brighton. Read more
