Omo, the things my eyes have seen as a grave digger

I’m a grave digger and I have been at this business for a while.

I went into grave digging to supplement funds for my family and in doing so, my eyes have seen what many ears haven’t heard.

The dead are not always dead.

Every time you see a hearse, I mean a motor hearse, if there’s a dead body in the coffin being conveyed, the dead always sits on the roof of the hearse. They watch the road and if the driver of the hearse does not appease them before they set out, they will cause accidents on the road and many people will die as a result. This is usually so if the person died an untimely death.

So that is why you often see that the hearse always has leaf tied to the bonnet, a sure sign that the dead being conveyed has been appeased.

Many times, if the dead is a stubborn dead, they will prevent the vehicle from moving; even if a mechanic checks it, they would find nothing wrong with the vehicle but if the driver of the hearse is discerning, he will know it is because the dead hasn’t been properly appeased. He will then make an appeal to the dead before his vehicle can continue on the road.

I have seen so many things as a grave digger.

Some people believe that using a dead human body part to do juju, will make them rich…I say to you, continue, don’t stop o but know this for certain, no one who uses a dead person’s part to do juju will never get away with it in the long run, there are always heavy repercussions.

You will pay for the deed, because the dead will always come back to claim what is theirs, even if it takes long. Those who do this can suffer long and they won’t even be able to say, “this is what I have done.” They die bad deaths!

Something happened recently; a man was being buried; his closest friend as I was told, came close to the coffin and tried to pour sand into the grave, and the friend just slumped and died!

Right there!

I saw the man; the dead man, he was the one who attacked the friend. You ask me why?

One of the reasons for this may likely be because both men had slept with the same woman. Maybe the friend had been sleeping with the dead man’s wife or girlfriend. You don’t know that when two friends sleep with the same woman and one of them dies, the other, if he comes close to the dead at the burial site will also die?

That is it, it is the law of retributive justice that you see happening. Take it or not, that is the truth!

Same thing can happen where two friends who are sleeping with the same woman eat from the same plate or use the same spoon or drink from the same cup, one of them will surely die!

I know of a man, who had told his children not to bury him in Lagos, but they still brought him to our site for burial. I saw the man, angry and shouting that his children should take him back…they asked us to bury him…what is my own, I did as I was told. A few days later, the children just began to die funny deaths one after another…I really don’t know why the man was so angry.

My sister, how many will you see and talk about?

Things happen, things that defy logic and common sense. That is why there is a God!
