One dies as pipeline explodes in Lagos community (Punch)

A yet-to-be-identified person has died in the fire incident that happened within Diamond Estate/Idowu Egba, in the Egbe-Idimu Local Council Development Area of Lagos State.

It was gathered that the fire incident was caused by suspected vandals who ruptured the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation’s pipeline in the area in a bid to scoop fuel.

The ruptured pipeline was said to have been spilling fuel continuously, leading to the fire incident that razed four locations in the community. Read more
