Charles Idahosa, chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Edo State on Thursday said the party would witness massive transformation if Adams Oshiomhole becomes the next national chairman of the party.
Describing the former Edo governor as a fearless, forthright and consistent leader, Idahosa, an outspoken critic of the current APC leadership, said stakeholders who want the best for the party should support President Muhammadu Buhari’s endorsement of Oshiomhole and work for his emergence as the new party chairman.
Idahosa, who described Oshiomhole as a man with rich political and administrative skills, said his record as the president of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and as a two-time governor of Edo was a clear testimony to the fact that only Oshiomhole could lead the party to victory during the 2019 presidential election.
