Paul Pogba insisted that he is unconcerned with what pundits have to say about him following Manchester United’s 1-1 draw with Chelsea on Sunday.
The Frenchman has often been criticised since returning to United in an £89m deal from Juventus three years ago and many people were surprised to see him named in the PFA Team of the Year last week.
Sky Sports pundit Graeme Souness has been one of Pogba’s most vocal critics over the past couple of seasons and in his Sunday Times column this weekend, the Scot advised United to sell the Frenchman and ‘sign two £50m players instead’.
Former United captain Roy Keane also had some harsh words to say about Pogba when he was on pundit duty for the Manchester derby in midweek, saying that he ‘plays for himself’ and calling him a ‘big problem’ for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. Read more
