Second-leg of the Champions League quarter-finals last Tuesday saw a mouthwatering clash between Manchester City and Liverpool.

The Jurgen Klopp’s led side extended their first-leg form to the second-leg winning the tie on a 5-1 aggregate. Liverpool won 3-0 in the first-leg at Anfield and on Tuesday thrashed Pep’s side 2-1 at the Etihad.

Second-half goals from Moh Salah and Roberto Firmino helped The Reds win the match and crushing any hopes of City making a comeback.

It was a very memorable night for Jurgen Klopp and his boys unlike to Pep Guardiola who was furious at the referee at half time after a first-goal from Leroy Sane was ruled out for offside. Read more
