Pirisola seeks end to killings, poverty, others (Guardian)

Those killing innocent people in the country under any guise have been advised not to underestimate the power of God to deal ruthlessly with anyone who unjustly takes the life of a fellow being.

The new Anglican Bishop of the Diocese on the Coast, Ondo State, Rt. Rev. Oluseyi Pirisola, who gave the warning, said: “It is lamentable that some people no longer place value on human life which only God can create. The rise in the cases of unjust killing and displacement of people across the country is appalling. It is double jeopardy for people who are struggling to live under a poor state of the economy to, at the same time, suffer unprovoked attacks and killing by those who are thirsty for blood and do not fear their creator…” Read more
