Two men who police accused of being members of the “ Eiye confraternity”, on Friday appeared in an Okitipupa Chief Magistrates’ Court in Ondo State.
The police charged Funmilayo Oluwakomiyo and John Fredrick,with felony and unlawful association.
The prosecutor, Inspector Ayodeji Omoyeigha, told the court that the defendants and eight others at large on Nov. 15 around 11: 30 p.m., at a secluded bush in Idepe Okitipupa did conspired to commit felony.
Omoyeigha said that the defendants and their accomplice held secret meeting aimed at disturbing the peace of the community. Read more
