Police in Imo parade woman who sold two children for N200,000 (Daily Times)

The Imo state commissioner of police, Dasuki Galadanchi, on Tuesday in Owerri the state capital handed over two children abducted in Akure, Ondo state and sold for N200,000 to their parents.

The Police boss while parading the suspect, identified as Mary Paul, before handing over the victims Unmi Isiaku, 5, and Habib Awalu, 7, to their fathers, Marutala Ishaku and Awalu Muhammed, disclosed that the children were stolen three weeks ago in Akure.

He explained that the suspect intentionally planned to steal the children but disguised herself as a tenant where the children lived with their patents. Read more
