The Kano State Police Command on Friday intercepted 303 cartons of hard drugs suspected to be Tramadol tablets.
The Commissioner of Police, Mr Mohammed Wakili, disclosed this to journalists in Kano, the News Agency of Nigeria reported.
Wakali explained that the seizure was in continuation of the command’s effort to rid the state of all forms of crimes, especially the consumption of hard drugs and intoxicating substances.
Wakili noted that, following a tip-off, policemen conducted a raid on May 17 at 157 Miller road, Bompai, in Nasarawa Local Government Area of the state, where a laboratory was located. Read more
