Portable to Davido: Without you, I’ll collect Grammy

The social media drama involving controversial musician Portable and his colleague Davido has taken a new turn.

Portable has come back hard at Davido after he unfollowed him on Instagram.

The two feuded when Portable openly accused Davido of offering him ‘poor advice’ during their recent dinner in the United States.

He stated that Davido, who signed with Sony Music, encouraged him not to join the company and instead suggested that he sign with Empire.

The ‘Zazu’ vocalist accused foul play, claiming that he, like Davido, is looking for a Grammy, but the DMW head is encouraging him to join a label that may not impact the award for him.

After his outburst, Davido unfollowed him on Instagram on Thursday.

Portable responded, saying he doesn’t need Davido’s followership or help to be a famous singer or win a Grammy.

He implied that Davido unfollowed him because he ceased being useful to him.

In a video uploaded on his Instagram page, Portable said: “They tried to destroy me and quickly unfollowed me because I stopped being beneficial to them. Whether you help me or not, I will do my tour; whether you follow me or not, I will collect Grammy.” (Sun)
