Anthony Joshua is on the look-out for an opponent to face in New York on June 1.
The Brit’s United States debut was scheduled for him to defend his three IBF, WBA and WBO heavyweight belts against Jarrell Miller at Madison Square Garden.
But Miller has been denied a boxing licence by the New York Athletic State Commission and has been pulled from the bill after failing a series of drugs test dating back from mid-March.
As a result, Joshua’s promoter Eddie Hearn has been scrambling to recruit a replacement in order for Joshua’s Stateside bout not to lose its appeal.
It is expected that Hearn will officially unveil who will replace Joshua this weekend. Read more
