Raheem Sterling tests negative for coronavirus after attending Usain Bolt party

Raheem Sterling has tested negative for coronavirus and has been included in Gareth Southgate’s England squad for the upcoming matches against Iceland and Denmark.

The Manchester City winger is currently on holiday and had attended the birthday party of Jamaican sprint legend Usain Bolt, who is currently self-isolating as a precaution having tested positive despite displaying no symptoms.

Sterling will take another test upon his return to the UK but a source close to the 25-year-old told Sky Sports ‘Raheem feels fine and is showing no symptoms of coronavirus.’

Local Jamaican media claim police are investigating the circumstances of Bolt’s lavish bash after videos emerged of party-goers dancing and revelling in close proximity. (Metro)
