Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku is set to discover his fate in showdown talks with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer this week.
The Belgian is not thought to be part of Solskjaer’s long-term plans at Old Trafford and the club would consider selling the striker should they recoup close to the £75m they paid for him two years ago.
Lukaku is relaxed about his future but the club have noted his recent comments about a move to Italy and the striker is believed to be open to joining a Serie A side.
Solskjaer feels there are other areas of the squad that are in more urgent need of fixing but will not stand in Lukaku’s way if the right offer comes along. Read more
