Kwara state chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has been advised to uphold democratic tenets and fair play while opening its doors for new entrants to the party in the state.
A statement by a PDP senatorial candidate in the state, Alhaji Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, which was made available to journalists in Ilorin on Thursday said that positions and offices in the state chapter of the party should not be conceded to the Senate president, Dr Bukola Saraki when he rejoins the opposition party. The PDP chieftain, who said that the party did not need the Senate President to win elections in Kwara state, added that the recent local government elections in the state were a testament to that.
