Taylor Swift has broken her silence about her ties to Harvey Weinstein amid the sexual misconduct allegations against him, declaring her support for his alleged victims.
Weinstein, 67, is accused of behaving inappropriately with a large number of women, notably actresses in Hollywood, which sparked the #MeToo movement in 2017.
Since then, Taylor has faced pressure to address her links to the movie producer.
The 29-year-old popstar earned a Golden Globe nomination for a song she wrote for Weinstein’s rom-com One Chance, while he later bagged her a supporting role in 2014 sci-fi The Giver. Weinstein was also in attendance at the launch party for Taylor’s 1989 album. Read more
