Taylor Swift got pretty shady about the White House as she accepted the video of the year award at the MTV VMAs for You Need To Calm Down.
She wasn’t having any of it.
The 29-year-old brought the cast of the video up to accept the award with her and, after previously promising to open up about her political views more often, Tay stuck to her word.
‘In this video, several points were made,’ Taylor said. ‘You voting for this video means that you want a world where we’re all treated equally under the law, regardless of who we love, regardless of how we identify.’ Read more
