The Police have arrested 18-year-old Elikor Ehud in Ejigbo for allegedly stealing tithes and offerings belonging to Chosen Vine Ministry, Furniture Avenue.

Police Public Relations Officer in the Lagos Command, DSP Bala Elkana, made this known in a statement in Lagos on Sunday.

Elkana said that one Pastor Moses Nwoke of the said ministry had reported theft of the money by some unknown persons at Ejigbo Police Station.

“After a thorough and painstaking investigation conducted by Ejigbo Police station, the suspect, Ehud, was arrested. Read more

Six suspected cultists arrested in Lagos (Vanguard)

Operatives of “Operation Crush’’ attached to Alapere Police Division in Lagos have arrested six suspected cultists.

The arrested cultists, believed to belong to the “Eiye and Aiye’’ confraternities, were arrested for their involvement in series of violent attacks in the area.

DSP Bala Elkana, Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) of the Lagos Police Command disclosed this in a statement on Sunday.

Elkana said some gangsters suspected to be members of Eiye and Aiye Confraternities, had earlier engaged themselves in a battle of supremacy with dangerous weapons at Demurin area, Alapere. Read more

Police Rescue Abducted Area Commander (ThisDay)

The Nigeria Police have rescued the abducted Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Musa Rambo, the Police Area Commander in Suleja.

Channels TV quoted Police spokesman, Mr. Frank Mba, as saying that the ACP was yesterday rescued unhurt.

However, no details were given on the rescued efforts.
