Tekashi69 arrested on racketeering charges alongside ex-manager (Metro)

Tekashi69 has been arrested on racketeering charges.

The rapper, his manager – who he fired last week – and two former associates are in federal custody after being arrested on Sunday night.

According to TMZ, Tekashi, real name Daniel Hernandez, was arrested in New York City alongside his ex-manager Shottie, and Faheem Walter. It is unknown who the other suspect is.

The four men are facing racketeering and firearms charges in what is reported to be a joint investigation by ATF (the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives), the New York Police Department and Homeland Security.

According to The Daily Beast, more details on the cast involving the 22-year-old will be announced today at his arraignment in Manhattan federal court. Read more
