Tems speech at Louisiana wows audience

Popular Nigerian music star “Tems” has wowed the Louisiana crowd after delivering an interesting speech about her journey into success as a musician at the Essence Festival in New Orleans.

In her words, Tems believed her life has been a “Testimony” with the story of someone who started in Lagos, but has been able to travel around the world.

She said, “You know, my life is a testimony. I guess, for those who don’t understand, I’m from Lagos, Nigeria” after delivering her speech she was welcomed with a resounding applause.

Recall that Guardian Life once reported about her success at the Grammy, she won Tems won Best Melodica Rap Performance at the 65th Grammy Awards on February 6, 2023, for her contribution to Future’s “Wait For U,” which also featured Drake.

Tems rose to fame after a marvelous performance as a guest on Wizkid’s ‘Essence,’ which was included on his album ‘Made In Lagos, after the release of a remix version with Canadian pop star Justin Bieber in 2021. (Guardian)
