Ten suspected secret cult members were on Tuesday brought before an Ota Chief Magistrates’ Court in Ogun.
The accused are Muyideen Ijiade, 29; Olueaseyi Oluwole, 23; Jamiu Saka, 20; Ajayi Iyayi, 21; Ismaila Ibrahim, 23; Olayinka Muyideen, 17; and Olalekan Mudasiru, 20.
Others are Toheeb Yunusa, 18; Jimon Azeez, 17; and Toheeb Adelowo, 19.
The accused are facing a three-count charge of membership of an unlawful society, conspiracy and breach of peace.
According to the Police Prosecutor, Abdulkareem Mustapha, the accused committed the offences on Nov. 24 at about 9.55p.m. at Ijamido Town Hall, Arigbabu Area, Ota. Read more
