The Super Eagles arrive in Port Harcourt ahead of friendly match

The Super Eagles have arrived in Port Harcourt ahead of the international friendly match scheduled for Monday, 28th of May against the national team of the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Super Eagles  team members including captain John Mikel Obi, Kelechi Iheanacho and others, along with the coaching crew were sighted on Saturday arriving  the Meridien Hotel  The Super Eagles team was conveyed in colourful branded buses provided by Star Lager beer who had earlier in the year signed a multi-year mega deal with the Nigerian Football Federation as official beer of the senior national team

The players who have been training in Uyo since the beginning of the week following their friendly game against Atletico Madrid, will continue their workout sessions today Sunday at Adokiye Aimesimaka Stadium in Port Harcourt. Only Victor Moses was not sighted with the team,  having been granted permission to join  the rest of the team later in London, where they will play against England on the 2nd of June at the Wembley Stadium.

In the interim, the Leopards of Democratic Republic of Congo have settled down in Port Harcourt ahead of the friendly match and are currently lodged at the Presidential Hotel, Port Harcourt.
